EMERGENCY RESPONSE EXERCISE AT TYNDALL

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – The 325th Fighter Wing will be conducting an emergency response exercise Oct. 16.
Emergency response scenarios can range from an aircraft accident to a chemical spill. Airmen are tasked with following proper procedures to respond to, and control, the incident in a safe and timely manner.
The exercise will be an internal event, and impact to the community should be minimal. Members of the local community may see increased action on or around Tyndall, and may hear announcements or alarms over the loud voice system.
The wing typically exercises a variety of situations six times per year ranging from hurricane preparations to operational deployment scenarios.
For any questions regarding the exercise, contact 2nd Lt. Christopher Bowyer-Meeder, 325th Fighter Wing Public Affairs, at (850) 283-4500.
