The Laundry Project is coming to Apalachicola & Port St. Joe

What is The Laundry Project?
The Laundry Project was started to assist low-income families meet a basic need - Washing clothes and linens. Something that you and I take for granted.

RAFGC is partnering with Jason Sowell, founder of the Laundry Project and not for profit Current of Tampa Bay, Inc., to hold a Laundry Project event in each of our counties. These will be the VERY FIRST Laundry Project events in the Panhandle!!

For the people served by the Laundry Projects, washing clothes is a financial burden. As a result, they may be unable to do their laundry as frequently as they would like. Since 2009 Current of Tampa Bay, Inc.,has been partnering with sponsors to provide relief from this burden. In 2013, the Laundry Project held events in 29 locations and helped 1,200 families wash 12,250 loads of laundry.
We need your help to make this event a success. Please consider supporting this event through a sponsorship or by joining us at the event as a volunteer.
