Wakulla County Commissioner elected chairman of regional Planning Council

The Apalachee Regional Planning Council recently elected Wakulla County Commissioner Randy Merritt to serve as Chairman. 
The Apalachee Regional Planning Council is one of 11 Regional Planning Councils in Florida which act as a bridge between state and local governments and represents areas with similar issues and needs.
The Apalachee Regional Planning Council covers 9 counties including Franklin, Gulf, Liberty and Wakulla Counties.

Franklin County is represented on the council by county commissioners Pinki Jackel and Smokey Parrish  as well as Carrabelle City Commissioner Brenda La Paz.
