Your help is needed to county Franklin County's homeless

The Big Bend Homeless Coalition is conducting their annual count for the homeless in Franklin County.  A representative from the Big Bend Homeless Coalition in Tallahassee will be in Franklin County at 5:30 pm today, Tues., January 27th, at the Franklin County Schools District Office in the cafeteria located at 85 School Road Eastpoint to train volunteers on the procedures of doing the count & survey.  If you,your group/organization

would like to be involved please call Sandi Hengle, the Franklin County Schools Homeless Liaison at (850) 323-0982.  We need as many volunteers to participate in this training as there has not been one in the county  especially with the Bay situation. We hope to have representatives from  Lanark, Carrabelle, Eastpoint, St George Island and Apalachicola. The county will be conducted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. Everybody is welcome to attend, Thank you for your time and help us to let OUR voice be hear and counted in Tallahassee.  The result will assist us in being COUNTED.
