Gulf World releases 20 sea turtles after weeks of rehab

Gulf World Marine Park released about 20 sea turtles into the wild on Tuesday.
The sea turtles were released from two locations, the St. George Island State Park and the Cape Palms Park in Cape San Blas.
The turtles were from two separate cold stun events including a mass cold stun event in New England in December and a cold stun event in February in the St Joe Bay area.
The turtles from New England were Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles which are the most endangered sea turtle species.

12 of the turtles were rescued from St. Joe Bay on February 20th
