Routine Bridge Inspection on S.R. 20 over Apalachicola River
Chipley, FL – Crews will perform a routine inspection on the State Road (S.R.) 20 bridge over the Apalachicola River in Calhoun County. Alternating lane restrictions will take place in the westbound lanes, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 16 through Thursday, March 19.
Routine inspections are one tool the department uses to provide a safe transportation system, an example of the dedication to making travel in Florida safer and more efficient.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone and to watch for construction equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
