Franklin County to host Dixie Youth Girls’ softball district 2 tournament starting next week

            Franklin County is preparing for a big softball tournament later this month.

The county will host the 2015 Dixie Youth Girls’ softball district 2 tournament which begins on June the 19^th at the Will Kendrick Sports Complex in Carrabelle.

The tournament will include 5 divisions – darlings, angels, angel x-play, ponytails and belles.

There will be teams from Altha, Marianna, Sneads, Wewahitchka, Wakulla County, Blountstown, Cottondale, and Franklin County.

The first game will begin at 6 PM on Friday, June the 19^th.

Tournament play will continue at 9 AM on June 20^th and at 1 PM on June 21^st.
