Political forum in Apalachicola on Thursday

There will be a political forum on Thursday for the candidates in the Apalachicola City elections.

Apalachicola business owners are sponsoring the political forum so voters can hear candidates discuss City issues before the September 8th Elections.

This year there are races for city mayor and for City Commission seat 2.

All of the candidates have agreed to participate in the forum.

That includes Mayor Van W. Johnson, Sr. and Dr. Greg Wynot who are running for Mayor.

Commissioner Jimmy L. Elliott and Charles Kienzle are competing for the Commission Seat 2 race.

The forum will be held at the Historic Dixie Theatre on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

The forum is free and open to the public.

And remember, city elections will be held on Tuesday, September 8^th; early voting will be held August 31^st through September 4^th.
