County
commissioners are ready to seek bids for a county-wide road paving project.
The commissioners have already provided a
list of roads they feel are in the worst need for paving.
The Prebble Rish engineering firm said it
is nearly finished with the design phase of the project and should be ready to
advertise for bids in the next few weeks.
Commissioners plan to open bids at their
first meeting in November.
The county has about 2.1 million dollars
in its gas tax fund to pave some county owned streets.
Each commissioner is getting about 422
thousand dollars for work in his or her district.
