Temporary Lane closures on Wakulla County roads

Chipley  – Drivers traveling U.S. 319 (Crawfordville Road) in Wakulla County will encounter temporary lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes, Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  A pavement crew will perform paint tests on U.S. 319 from New Light Church Road to Pixie Circle and approximately 1/2 mile south of State Road (S.R.) 267.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, a Florida Department of Transportation geotechnical crew will perform pavement core and surveys on S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) Coastal Highway from the Franklin County line to Boykin Road. Drivers will encounter temporary lane closures in the east and westbound lanes from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

All planned activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.  Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the posted speed limit when traveling through the construction area and to use caution while driving in a work zone.
