7000 dollar reward offered in Wakulla County murder

Tuesday was the one year anniversary of an unsolved murder in Wakulla County and authorities are offering a 7000 dollar reward for information that leads to the arrest of the killer or killers.

50 year old George “Jody” Kilgore was killed on the morning of October the 6th, 2014.

He was found stabbed to death at the end of his driveway off Spring Court

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office and Big Bend Crime Stoppers are offering a $7,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual who killed Mister Kilgore. 

Kilgore was a life-long Wakulla County resident; he was an avid fisherman and electrician who co-owned a local business, Kilgore and Gregory LLC. 

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Department of Law Enforcement are seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding Mr. Kilgore’s homicide.
