Wakulla County Announces Emergency Repairs to Hilliardville Road



Crawfordville, Florida – The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners has received a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service in the amount of $44,000.00 for emergency repairs to Hilliardville Road.  The damage to the roadway is a result of a recent storm.

A portion of Hilliardville Road (between Namon Spears Rd. & Robins Nest Ln.) will be closed commencing on October 8, 2015, with completion expected by October 18, 2015.  Residents located in the Northern section of this roadway will need to enter/exit via New Light Church Rd., and residents located in the Southern section should enter/exit via Highway 267.  The County Public Works Department will also have signs placed to delineate detour routes.
