Yeti Raffle
 
The Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce will be holding a raffle for a Yeti Roadie Cooler, But not just the Cooler. The Roadie is full of other great items donated by Chamber Members, totaling up to a $600.00 package.
Tickets are a donation $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. You do not have to be present to win. The winner will be announced Saturday night Nov. 7th at the Florida Seafood Festival.
Tickets are available now at the Chamber office at 122 Commerce Street in Apalachicola. They will also be sold during the Downtown Oyster Roast on Friday November 6th and on Saturday at the Florida Seafood Festival. To get tickets you can call John or Cindy at 850-653-9419.

Florida Oldest Maritime Event
The Florida Seafood Festival is a two day event annually drawing tens of thousands of visitors to the  historic town of Apalachicola in scenic Franklin County. The Festival is held at the mouth of the Apalachicola river under the shady oaks of Apalachicola's Battery Park. The festival features delicious seafood, arts and crafts exhibits, seafood related events, Musical Entertainment. Some of the notable events include Oyster Eating and Oyster Shucking contest, Blue Crab Races, Photo Contest, Parade, 5k Redfish Run, The Blessing of the Fleet.


Apalachicola Autos & Oysters
November 13, 2015 to November 14, 2015
Water Street Apalachicola
Spend a fall weekend in Historic Apalachicola surrounded by vintage cars, fine sea food, antique homes, pristine nature, extraordinary shops and restaurants and the friendliest folks in Florida.
Historic Apalachicola Main Street is creating this inaugural two day car show designed for vintage car enthusiasts.
The weekend will include receptions, exhibitions and speakers.
Registrants will be provided with information packages listing local establishments providing special offers that weekend.

The Fourth Annual Salute to Veterans
A two-day event held at the St. Joseph Bay Golf Club
Featuring a Silent Auction & Golf Tournament
November 8th. & 9th, 2015
This event is hosted by
The St. Joseph Bay Golf Club
700 Country Club Road,  Port St. Joe FL and The Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum
1001 Gray Avenue, Carrabelle, FL
As part of a full weekend event, a reception will be held Friday, November 8, at 6PM ET with hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar at St. Joseph Bay Golf Club Clubhouse. Cost of admittance, $10.00(includes two free drinks).  A Silent Auction will take place with auction items including items such as Limited Edition Prints of historic military and cultural events, and area hotel stays. 
A benefit golf tournament will then be held Saturday, November 9, with proceeds to support the Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum and the St. Joseph Bay Golf Club.  The club is open to the public and the tournament will be a 4-player, scramble format, kicking off at 12:30 PMwith a short ceremony to honor America's veterans and a 1:00PM ET shotgun start.  A meal and awards ceremony will follow.
 
Festival of Trees
November 23, 2015, Festival of Trees at the Raney House, 128 Market Street, Apalachicola, FL,5:30pm to 7pm. Cocktail party with artist decorated trees on display and available for bid. Admission is $10.00. Proceeds go to the historic Raney House.


SGI Lighthouse Full Moon Climb
Nov. 25th
Climb to the top of the Cape St. George Light to watch the sunset and the rise of the full moon. The Sunset/Full Moon Climb includes light hors d'oeuvres and a sparkling cider toast to the full moon.  Cost is $15.00 for the general public and $10.00 for members of the St. George Lighthouse Association. After sunset, people are invited to climb to the top of the lighthouse for a breathtaking view of the full moon, as space and time permit.  Cost is $10.00 for the general public and $5.00 for SGLA members. Because space is limited, reservations are recommended.  For reservations or more information, please contact the Lighthouse Gift Shop at 850-927-7745.



The Apalachicola Christmas Celebration 
The Apalachicola Christmas Celebration will light up the lovely historic town of Apalachicola from 4:00-8:00 p.m., the day after Thanksgiving. The streets will be lined with luminaries and filled with holiday spirit. Merchants will be open late and the sounds of carolers will echo through the streets filling the evening with the Christmas spirit. Santa will arrive on a shrimp boat at 4:00 p.m. at the City Dock on Water Street. Santa will hear children's Christmas wishes and carolers will sing. The Orman House is trimmed in holiday finery and open for tours. The Raney House is decorated in holiday greenery and open for tours.  Join the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce for an old-fashioned Christmas celebration!
Saturday from 1:00-3:30 pm the fun continues as Santa has a special day devoted to hearing wishes from his furry friends.  There will be a pet costume contest at 3:00 and special treats for dogs. Bring your camera and make a donation to the Franklin County Humane Society and get your pet's photo taken with Santa.
