The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Extends Comment Period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Water Control Manual for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin

MOBILE, Ala. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, has extended the comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and Water Control Manual (WCM) for the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin until January 30, 2016.
“Due to the complexity and size of the documents we have received requests to extend the comment period an additional two weeks to allow the public ample time to provide their
comments,” E. Patrick Robbins, Public Affairs Officer said. “Therefore, the comment period has been extended until January 30, 2016.”
