Census figures show more local adults are covered by health insurance

More adults in our area are getting health insurance according to 2014 data recently released from the US Census Bureau.
The census found that 18.9 percent of Franklin County adults were uninsured in 2014 – down from 26.4 percent in 2013.
Gulf County also had nearly 19 percent uninsured in 2014, down from about 23 percent the year before.
In Liberty County 18.4 percent of adults were uninsured and in Wakulla County it was 14.8 percent.
The Census data shows that 29 Florida counties had uninsured rates of at least 20 percent or higher.
Most of those counties are in central and south Florida.
You can see uninsured rates for every county in the US using an interactive map at the US Census website.
