Franklin and Gulf County unemployment fell in April

Local unemployment fell in April.
Franklin County unemployment was 4 percent last month – down from 4.3 percent the month before.
Only 8 counties had lower unemployment rates than Franklin County.
191 people were looking for work in Franklin County in April, 16 fewer than in March.
The workforce also increased by 57 people.
Gulf County unemployment was listed at 4.1 percent – that’s also down from 4.3 percent the month before.
264 people were looking for work in Gulf County in March.

Wakulla County had one of the lowest unemployment rates in Florida at 3.8 percent, in Liberty county unemployment fell from 5.2 percent to 4.8 percent.
