PORT ST. JOE, Fla., June 29, 2016 – Capital City Bank has named Wayland Fulford president of Gulf County, effective immediately. As market president, Fulford’s responsibilities will include overseeing operations and further strengthening the Company’s position in Gulf County.


"With recent growth in the market, we believe we will be better able meet our clients’ needs and keep pace with future growth if we have a full-time president able to dedicate all his time and resources to serving this
community,” said Tom Barron, Capital City Bank president. “Wayland’s knowledge and experience in banking and with the Company makes him an ideal candidate to lead our team of bankers in Gulf County.”

Fulford has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, and has served the last seven with Capital City Bank as president of Washington County. He is a native of Hartford, Ala. and graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.
