Project Impact summer camp starts Monday

The City of Apalachicola is getting ready to kick off its annual Project Impact summer camp.
The FREE Summer Camp will begin next Monday, June 13 th and run through July 28 th.
The program will be open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, at the Old Apalachicola High School and at the Apalachicola Bay Charter School.
The City Site also features extended hours on Saturdays from 10 - 2 for 6th through 12th graders only!
The camp is open to Grades Kindergarten through 12th grades with a variety of activities offered throughout the day and all students will receive free breakfast and lunch courtesy of the Franklin County Food Services Program.
Activities will include art, pottery, photography, guitar lessons, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, yoga, cooking, robotics and more.
There will also be weekly field trips to locations including the Panama City beach Aquatic Center, Gymnastics Plus, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum!
Both sites will also offer an intense summer reading workshop hosted by certified teachers and High Schoolers will have the option to participate in a Credit Recovery Program with a dedicated computer lab open 5 days a week!
