Monday is the last day to register for the "Whatever Floats Your Boat" regatta

Monday is the last day to register if you want to take part in the 5th Annual Whatever Floats Your Boat Regatta at the FSU Coastal and Marine Lab at Turkey Point.

The Whatever floats your boat regatta challenges groups to build boats out of recycled materials and compete against other vessels.

You can win prizes in a number of categories including the First boat to cross the finish line, the Most creative use of materials, the Titanic Award for the most spectacular failure and the People's Choice award.

And this year there will be two heats for sailing and non-sailing.

The regatta will be held on Saturday, September the 24^th so you need to start building your boat now.

The last day to register a vessel is Monday, September the 19^th.
