The North Florida District Office will accept awards for Small Business Person of the Year and Exporter of Year along with several local awards, which will be announced in early October. Nomination guidelines and other pertinent information will be available on the district office website at www.sba.gov/fl/north.

“Last year the North Florida District Office nominated a national winner from our area. There are many small businesses in North Florida that have created jobs, developed new products, or contributed greatly to their local economies. Small Business Week gives the SBA an opportunity to recognize the hard-work and determination of these entrepreneurs,” stated Wilfredo J. Gonzalez, SBA North Florida District Director.

All nominations must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. ESTMonday, Jan. 10, 2017.  SBA will no longer be using the Small Business Week online portal. All nomination packages may only be hand delivered or mailed to the applicable SBA Office. Email submissions of SBA Awards forms will not be accepted as they contain personally identifiable information (PII).
