Three arrested in Eastpoint on numerous drug charges

The Franklin County Narcotics Unit arrested three people in Eastpoint on Thursday after serving a search warrant at a home on Bull Street.

The home belongs to Avril Pinkerton and Jonathan Cooper.

This warrant was executed late Thursday evening – deputies found a variety of illegal drugs including methamphetamine, marijuana seeds, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and drug paraphernalia.

 31 year old Avril Pinkerton was charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance as well as Violation of Probation.

25 year old Jonathan Cooper is also facing charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance as well as Battery on Law Enforcement Officer, and Violation of Probation.

21 year old Ethan Whittington was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, and possession of methamphetamine.
