Crawfordville, Florida – The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) announce cleanup efforts after Hurricane Hermine. The Lower Bridge Landfill will be open today, September 5, 2016 through Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m., “free of charge” for residents to dispose of green waste/yard debris and food spoilage. The Lower Bridge Landfill is located at 156 Landfill Rd., Crawfordville.
In addition, for citizens still without power, a cooling and feeding station is setup at the Wakulla County One Stop Community Center located at 318 Shadeville Rd., Crawfordville, today, September 5, 2016 through tomorrow, September 6, 2016 from 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.
Lastly, all BOCC Offices will re-open tomorrow, September 6, 2016. It should also be noted that all Wakulla County schools will be closed tomorrow, September 6, 2016 and will resume on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
