NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard medevaced a man from a charter vessel approximately 20 miles south of Destin, Florida, Tuesday.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a report at 10:48 a.m. from the charter vessel, Destin Princess, of an 88-year-old male passenger experiencing stroke-like symptoms.
Coast Guard Station Destin launched a Response Boat-Medium crew with local emergency medical technicians aboard.
The man was transferred to Station Destin where EMS transported him to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
