Franklin County Humane Society Pet of the Week
PIXIE, a 2 year old terrier mix, was picked up on I-10. She was brought to us by her rescuers with rope burn around her neck and very thin. We believe she would rather risk the dangers of the interstate than spend one more day tied up and starved. She has retained her sweet nature even through her obvious neglect and with a little TLC from us, will be ready for her forever home soon. She is a loving and calm little girl who is so deserving of a loving and kind home. Who of you can offer her that home?
Volunteers are desperately needed to socialize all of our dogs and cats. We are always looking for people willing to bring one of our animals into their home to be fostered for various needs. Anytime you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
Call Karen at 670-8417 for more details or visit the Franklin County Humane Society at 244 State Road 65 in Eastpoint. You may logon to the website at www.forgottenpets.org to see more of our adoptable pets.
