Franklin County TDC adding security to Eastpoint visitor's center

The Franklin county Tourist Development Council will add some security to its Visitor Center in Eastpoint.

TDC Director Curt Blair told county commissioners that the TDC plans to install security cameras at the site.

They are taking the steps to address the problem of minor vandalism at the visitors center, mainly the theft of some of the Christmas decorations at the center.

Mister Blair said the cameras will also provide an extra level of security for office staff at the visitors center.
