Splash Trash Tour coming to Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve

The Splash Trash Tour is coming to Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve beginning February the 1st.
Environmental communicator, Bette Booth created the Splash Trash Tour to promote dialogue and action about trash in our oceans and what we can do to make a difference.

Booth transformed the recovered beach trash into a travelling gallery of artwork and an interactive hands-on exhibit about trash in our oceans and what we can do to make a difference.
The exhibit is open for viewing at the ANERR Nature Center from February 1 through February 11 during Reserve hours.

On Saturday, February the 4th there will also be a Splash Trash Family Event, where you can speak with the artist and make your own trash art.
And on February the 8th there is a Special Reserve Wednesday Talk on the status of plastic trash in our oceans and what can we do to make a difference.
The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center is located at 108 Island Drive in Eastpoint.

The exhibit and special events are all free and open to the public.
