Franklin County creating employee policy for after-hours vehicle use

Franklin County has agreed to create a policy to spell out which county workers can use county vehicles after hours for official business.

County staff is in the process of updating the County’s Personnel policies and procedures manual and County coordinator Michael Moron said a policy for using vehicles after hours needs to be added to the books.

The policy will be written by the county's labor attorney and voted on by the county commission at a future meeting.
