The City of Port St. Joe has been awarded over a half million dollars to help restore sewer and roads

The City of Port St. Joe has been awarded over a half million dollars to help restore sewer and roads.

The grant is from more than $3 million dollars in funding through programs from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity for infrastructure and workforce training in small and rural Florida communities.

Port St. Joe will receive 511,500 dollars for the replacement of sewer lines and repaving of streets.

Other cities receiving the awards include the cities of Blountstown, Defuniak Spings, and Lawtey.
