The Franklin County tax collectors office will reopen to the public today

The Franklin County tax collectors office will reopen to the public today.

The office will be open regular business hours from 830 to 430 Monday through Friday.

The office at the courthouse in Apalachicola will be limited to 4 customers at a time, while the Carrabelle office will be limited to 2 people at a time.

All customers will have to wear a mask when visiting the office, and people needing assistance with drivers licenses or concealed weapons permits will need to make an appointment.

People taking the driving test or filling out the concealed weapon application will have to wear gloves.

To make an appointment for concealed weapons permits call the Carrabelle office at 697-3263.
