A MESSAGE FROM YOUR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
We would like to thank everyone for their patience awaiting test results. We know this can be a stressful time. We are CAT5 hurricane survivors and we are going to get through this pandemic! The state is expanding laboratory capacity to accommodate the influx of testing and improve testing wait time.
For individuals who have had actual close contact to a positive case (less than 6 feet for 15 minutes), the recommendation continues to be the same: Quarantine for 14 days in your home from the date of exposure. If symptoms develop, contact your healthcare provider. If you are still waiting on your test results and have been keeping yourself in quarantine, you are doing what you need to do to limit exposure to others.
Here’s what you’ll find new in today’s update:
- Executive Order 20-159 Limited Extension of Mortgage Foreclosure and Eviction Relief
- American Strong-Social Distancing Flyer
- FREE drive-thru testing, Monday, July 6 at Lake Alice Park in Wewahitchka from 9a-3p.
- REMINDER: DOH-Gulf offers FREE COVID-19 testing by appointment only. Please call (850) 227-1276.
