 Franklin County is seeking construction bids from companies who would like to help repair damage that was done during Hurricane Michael in 2018.

The repairs are needed at the Eastpoint Fishing Pier as well as at C30 West between Apalachicola and Indian Pass where there were two large washouts caused by extreme wind and surge during Hurricane Michael.

Work at the fishing pier include repairing significant damage to the walkways, ramps, rip rap, and parking area.

Both large projects are in the final phase of design and permitting and the next step is to advertise for bids for the repairs.
