59 percent of Franklin County residents 45 years and older have received their COVID-19 vaccination.
In Gulf County, 55 percent of residents 45 and older have received their vaccine.
The health department has not yet released vaccination numbers of those under 45, though everyone 12 and over is now eligible to begin their COVID vaccinations.
COVID-19 vaccinations are available at the Health departments in Apalachicola and Port St. Joe.

As of Saturday, Franklin County has seen 1348 COVID cases since the pandemic began and 20 deaths.
The Department of Health reports our positivity rate at 8 percent – well above the state average of 5 percent.
The Health Department says some of that is attributable to a cluster of vacationers who tested positive.
Gulf County has seen 1976 cases and 45 deaths with a positivity rate of just 3 percent.
