The Fireworks are Back! Join Us for the Independence Eve Fireworks Celebration July 3, 2021 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. Riverfront Park in Downtown Apalachicola Live Music! Food Trucks! Veterans Tribute!   The Area's Biggest Fireworks Show! One of the Top 12 Independence Events in Florida! Apalachicola’s “Independence Eve” Fireworks Celebration is a summer tradition that attracts locals and visitors from all over the Forgotten Coast and beyond. Like many events, it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. Apalachicola Main Street is excited to announce that the fireworks celebration will be held this summer!  “We want to thank the community for their understanding last year when the event had to be cancelled. We heard from so many people that they really wanted it to move forward this year,” said Apalachicola Main Street Board Chair Jim Bachrach, “Although the event will be somewhat scaled back and some features may be different due to Covid precautions, we look forward to a patriotic and exciting 3rd of July. It's always a great time.” Admission is FREE, and lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome.  For an upscale experience and excellent seats for the fireworks, click here to make a reservation for a table on the docks.
