A Feast for the Eyes and Angelology Reception

Opening Reception: May 21 from 6-8 pm ET
Gallery Hours: Thursdays and Fridays from 11am - 6pm ET, Saturdays from 11pm - 3pm ET

A special presentation by Mr. Gagnon is being planned
The Joe Center for the Arts invites the public to attend the Opening Reception of two exhibits. A Feast for the Eyes celebrates the art of the table, from the foods we eat to all the things that we celebrate around the table.
Local Panama City Beach artist and speaker, Tim Gagnon, our juror, will present awards for best in show, first, second, and third place, and honorable mentions during the reception.

An acclaimed artist, Tim Gagnon is also displaying pieces from his Angelology series - an artistic and theological study of the doctrine of angels. His 12 artistic panels depict portraits that explain the nature of angels and their purpose as referenced from Judeo-Christian scripture. In his work, Tim pays homage to medieval illuminated scripture, incorporating text and heraldry with figurative paintings on a gilded surface. Each rendition was exhaustively studied to insure the utmost in biblical accuracy.
