The Carrabelle History Museum is extending a special display that pays tribute to several local men who served, some of whom also sacrificed, in our country’s armed forces.

The display was originally developed for Carrabelle’s Museum Day which was held on May 1st, but the Military Tribute Exhibit has been so meaningful to the Museum and the community that the museum has decided to keep the exhibit in place through the end of May.

May is National Military Appreciation Month so the exhibit is especially fitting.

The exhibit honors five men from Carrabelle who served in the military representing World War

I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

The Carrabelle History Museum is located at 106 SE Avenue B, in downtown Carrabelle.

The museum and the exhibit are open Wednesday from 12-5 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

from 10 am-5 pm and Sunday from 12-5 pm.

There is no charge for admission but donations are welcomed.
