County commissioners last week signed contracts with companies to provide debris removal and debris monitoring services after a major storm

County commissioners last week signed contracts with companies to provide debris removal and debris monitoring services after a major storm.

Clean-up after a storm is much quicker and easier if the county already has a contract with a firm that specializes in that type of work.

The board agreed to contract with 3 companies for debris removal including Crowder/Gulf, SDR and Ceres Environmental.

The Debris monitoring companies are Tetra Tech and Disaster Program & Ops.

The county already has contracts in place for this storm season and says these contracts will be in effect for the next storm season.
