The Franklin County 4-H program is looking for more kids to take part in its shooting sports club.
Currently the program offers archery, but does expect to expand into other shooting sports in the future.
Initially the 4-H program was able to purchase enough equipment for eight 4-H youth with donations from local citizens.
The group was recently awarded nearly 8000 dollars from the NRA Foundation Teach Freedom grant program.
The money was used to purchase more archery equipment and supplies so now more kids cab take part.
The group practices in Carrabelle on Saturdays so if you have a child who might be interested, you can get more information and sign them up by calling Michelle Gray at 850-210-3277 for details and meeting times.
