Southeastern Dermatology, led by board-certified dermatologist, Doctor Michael J. Ford. is a full-service dermatology practice treating over 3,000 conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Ford is a skilled and talented dermatologist. He has a great passion for continued learning and for teaching which led him to open his own dermatology practice and develop a talented team of providers in the heart of Tallahassee in 2001. Dr. Ford wanted to streamline the patient experience by being able to treat patients from basic needs, such as: preventative medicine/education and annual skin exams, to surgical needs, such as: excisions and Mohs skin cancer surgery. Southeastern Dermatology hosts an in-house pathology lab which allows handling patient care from start to finish. Dr. Ford has developed a cosmetic dermatology department in the Tallahassee office which can help improve patient concerns through treatments, from: laser hair removal, pigmentation correction, anti-aging treatments, to: skin tightening, acne treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, and facials. WE carry a wide variety of skin care products from top brands such as ZO, Skinceuticals, and Revision. Dr. Ford and his team have garnered an outstanding reputation in the community which led to his desire to help communities where dermatology was needed. Southeastern Dermatology expanded to Crawfordville and Perry to make dermatology more accessible in rural areas. They recently moved their office to a new building in Crawfordville located at: 1596 Crawfordville Highway. Our staff visits Crawfordville between 2-6 times per month and hope to visit more often as the city continues to grow, and the demand for our care may grow along with it. Southeastern Dermatology handles a great deal of medical appointments in the Crawfordville office and is set up to do minor surgeries, such as excisions, but most surgical and cosmetic procedures need to take place in our Tallahassee office. Southeastern Therapy Services (STS), a speech language pathology practice with 12 years of providing highly skilled therapy services to people of all ages in Tallahassee, has opened a new outpatient clinic in the heart of Crawfordville. The office is at 2887 Crawfordville Hwy., directly across from Hudson Park. Services include treatment for autism and social pragmatic difficulties, articulation and motor speech disorders, language impairments, dyslexia and disorders of reading, swallowing deficits, voice disorders, stuttering, cognitive and memory deficits, and complications resulting from traumatic brain injury, stroke, and dementia.
Owner Cynthia Marks, a lifelong resident of Tallahassee with strong family ties to the Wakulla area, is pleased to offer an additional resource to residents of Crawfordville and surrounding coastal communities. Jenny Savary Duggar is the Director of Clinical Services & Community Outreach in Crawfordville and is excited to also provide experienced therapy to children and adults at this convenient location.
In addition to comprehensive evaluation and treatment, STS provides free screenings for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Here is why we ask. We received the following email from a resident: The Chamber website is where I go when looking for local business services. After selecting a business, the first thing I want to do is learn more about them before I make direct contact so I go to their website or google if there isn't one. I click on their logo thinking it will go to their website or give me more information, but it goes to a page that honestly makes no sense to me. The page this resident is referring to is where you add your personal touch and give a description of your services and share what you want people to know at first glance. Below are two random examples of what people see when they click on your logo. We used contact information on file and sent emails June 16 and 17 inviting our members to add information to listings. If you cannot find the email with log in and password, or if another person than our contact is responsible to keep up with website listing let us know so we can address any issues you may have.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Wakulla County Value Adjustment Board will hold hearings on Thursday, October 7, 2021 starting at 9:00 a.m. regarding petitions that have been filed with the Value Adjustment Board. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, Agency or Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
