A log truck crashed in Gulf County this morning, but luckily only led to minor injuries for the driver.

The Highway patrol said a Semi truck hauling logs was traveling west on State Road 22 near Williamsburg Road in Wewahitchka at about 8:20 this morning when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The truck left the roadway on the right shoulder and struck a speed limit sign before hitting a culvert with its front right.

The Semi and trailer overturned onto its passenger side and lost its load causing several logs to strike a parked 2008 Blue Ford F250.

The 49 year old driver from Hosford was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

No one was in the parked pickup when it was struck.
