Franklin County school counselor arrested for sex with a student

Sheriff A.J. "Tony" Smith announces the arrest of Kelley Mosley, 50 years of age, for the act of Lewd and Lascivious Battery upon a minor under the age of 18 but older than 12 years of age, a second degree felony.

After an extensive investigation by Lieutenant Baron Cortopassi, stemming from multiple complaints since April of this year, it was uncovered that Mosley met and began a sexual relationship with the juvenile victim while a behavior counselor for Franklin County Schools.

Mosley was fired from the school but the relationship continued. Initially, neither the suspect or juvenile victim confessed to a relationship, nor was there enough evidence to effect an arrest.
On September 28th at the FDLE office in Tallahassee, a recent former employer of Mosley's shared with investigators a text he received from Mosley admitting to intercourse with a juvenile
and that she was going to turn herself in. Hours later, Mosley too walked into FDLE and provided a full confession to having sex multiple times and places with the victim.

Mosley voluntarily surrendered her cellular phone giving consent to examine it where it was revealed that she had electronically sent graphic photographs of herself to the juvenile.

The victim was subsequently interviewed and he too provided a statement admitting to having intercourse and sexting. At this time, an arrest warrant for Lewd and Lascivious Battery was obtained and executed. Pending charges for the sexting issue will be addressed by FDLE upon return of search warrants with social media apps.
