The Franklin County EMS has been awarded the EMS Provider of the Year by the Florida Department of Health.
The annual award recognizes an EMS provider that has assumed a leadership role in the Florida EMS system and community and has demonstrated outstanding initiative in public education or training.
It also recognizes EMS providers which has demonstrated excellence in the areas of quality assurance and medical control protocol implementation.
The award was accepted by Richard Lewis, EMS Director for Franklin County’s Ambulance Service.
