Franklin County has agreed to spend one-thousand dollars to become a member of Florida’s Great Northwest.

Florida’s Great Northwest is a regional economic development organization for the 12-county region of Northwest Florida – it has the potential to bring more businesses and jobs to the county.

Franklin County now joins nine other counties in the service area as an investor member including Bay and Gulf Counties.

As an investor member, Franklin County becomes a voting member of the group’s marketing committee and gets access to the group’s lobbyists.

We also get greater access to the groups research and economic analysis.
