Election Day is next Tuesday, September the 2nd.
The City of Apalachicola is holding elections to fill two city commission seats.
There are 4 candidates who qualified to run for seat 3 on the Apalachicola City Commission currently held by Anita Grove, who will not seek re-election this year, though one of those candidates has since dropped out of the race.
Trae Ross withdrew from the election, though his name still appears on the ballot, as the ballots had already been printed when he decided to withdraw.
The candidates still running are Felipe Caquimbo, Donna Knutson and Dennis Green.
Seat 4 on the city commission is also on the ballot.
The incumbent, Donna Duncan, is seeking re-election.
She is facing Thomas Saunders in that race.

You can early vote daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Election Day voting will be at Holy Family Senior Center, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
