We’re proud to spotlight Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves, a dedicated nonprofit organization and valued member of the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce working to protect one of the most beautiful and ecologically significant areas along Florida’s Forgotten Coast.
Established in 2003, the ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฆ๐. ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ is a Citizen Support Organization that helps protect and preserve the St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve and the St. Joseph Bay Aquatic Preserve. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and community partnerships, the organization supports conservation, education, and stewardship of these remarkable natural resources.
Their mission is to advocate for the protection of the bay and its surrounding uplands, educate the public about the importance of conservation, and connect people who want to help sustain the health of this pristine ecosystem.
The organization also hosts educational events, volunteer opportunities, guided tours, and community programs that help residents and visitors better understand and appreciate the unique wildlife, habitats, and natural beauty of St. Joseph Bay.
