Mayor Van Johnson and some other politicians in Franklin County met with some of the bigwigs at the Army Corps of Engineers this week. It gave them a chance to lobby face-to-face on behalf of the Apalachicola River. I doubt anything will come out of it except for this letter from mayor Van Johnson.
