Highway Patrol will be out in force tonight
If you are going out tonight and plan on drinking make sure you have a designated driver. The Florida Highway Patrol will be in Franklin County tonight in force looking for drunk drivers. Highway patrol troopers will conduct saturation patrols around the county tonight from 9:00 PM until 3:00 AM. That means there will be more police on the roads than usual and also the likelihood of safety checkpoints on local roads. The saturation patrols or “wolf-packs” will concentrate on educating the public and removing impaired drivers from the roads to help make sure driving is safe for everyone.
