Property Appraisers recognize Bembry

Our State Representative Leonard Bembry has received some recognition from Property Appraisers around the state. The Property Appraisers’ Association of Florida, which consists of property appraisers from 38 counties including Franklin and Wakulla counties, has presented Representative Bembry with its “Outstanding Legislator” award. The group said Bembry was chosen for going above and beyond the call of duty on property appraisers issues before the legislature this year – specifically in the work he did extending state requirements for new aerial photography to five years. Property Appraisers said that change will save most of our small counties $50,000 to $100,000 each. Bembry said, “It is always an honor to have the opportunity to help our counties improve their service to Floridians and he is pleased to have received this very special recognition.”
