Local hospital seeks clergy for chaplaincy group

Weems Memorial Hospital is looking for local clergypersons to take part in the hospital’s Chaplaincy group. Currently 7 of Franklin County’s 44 churches are represented – but more are always being sought. The chaplains are asked to provide spiritual support for Weems patients and their families as well as to the hospital’s medical, administrative and support staff. The group was also instrumental in getting a donation of Gideon’s bibles for the hospital and for the St. James Health and Rehabilitation Center. Any clergy who would like to learn more about the Hospital’s chaplaincy group are asked to call Ginny Griner at 653-8853 extension 106.
