Swimming advisory for Alligator Point

Swimming should be great around most of Franklin County over the 4th of July weekend. There is only one swimming advisory in Franklin County this week – and that’s at Alligator Point. The Department of Health found low levels of the enterococcus bacteria in water samples taken from the site on Monday. Water samples from all other popular swimming areas in the county were clean. There were also no swimming advisories in Wakulla County this week, nor were there any for Gulf County.
