Wilderness Coast Library board gets new members

The Wilderness Coast Public Libraries system has two new board members. The Wilderness Coast Public Libraries system was established in 1992 to help provide services for the public library systems in Wakulla, Jefferson and Franklin counties. The WILDerness coast system serves over 50,000 residents in the three counties with a combined collection of approximately 135,000 items in its four libraries and also provides bookmobile services. The group also provides technical services to the libraries through high speed internet connections. The new members on the Wilderness Coast board are Franklin County Library Director Glenda Ondracek and Dr. Serafin Roldan, the Director of the Jefferson County Public Library. Miss Ondracek joins two other Franklin County representatives at Wilderness Coast; local realtor Cora Russ who serves as the board’s vice-chairperson, and county commissioner Pinki Jackel.
